An estimated seven to 10 million Americans suffer from essential tremor, which is a neurological condition that causes trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs, or trunk. It’s often confused with Parkinson’s disease even though essential tremor is eight times more common.

Ann Murray, MD, neurologist at the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, talks about the cause and treatments of essential tremor in this edition of Tuesday Talks.
