Update: Information session, WebEx meeting available for WVU Medicine's Pivotal Leadership Academy

Interested in applying for WVU Medicine's 2020 Pivotal Leadership Academy (PLA)? Attend an information session today (Nov. 6) from 3:30-4:30 p.m. to learn more about the program and have an opportunity to ask questions. The session will be held in the Bruce McClymonds Conference Center, Room A, located on the first floor of the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute (southeast tower) at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
If you cannot make an information session, a live WebEx meeting is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 8, from 9-10 a.m. The session will be recorded. Click on the link above to enter the meeting room for the session. The recorded link will be posted on CONNECT after the session.
PLA meets one day per month and utilizes classroom instruction and team projects that help high-performing employees develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a future leader within the organization. The program will broaden participants' leadership skills and strengthen their capacity to lead while helping them establish a path for success.
Applicant criteria (from date of submission):
- A minimum of one year of employment at WVU Medicine.
- No current disciplinary action for the past rolling 12 months per the Corrective Action Policy (V.230).
- Should not be in a formal leader position, which includes supervisor and above, and should not be a participant in other leadership development programs.
