Blood drive to be held at Cancer Institute today; schedule available for rest of year

Saturday, October 9, 2021

The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage, and there is an urgent need for donors locally and across the U.S. So schedule an appointment at an upcoming blood drive, roll up your sleeves, and give the gift of life.

Every two seconds, someone needs blood, platelets, or plasma to survive. Your donation will make a difference.

A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held today (Oct. 13) at the WVU Cancer Institute atrium from 1-6 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome; limited spaces are available today, but donors are urged to give blood at an upcoming drive in October.

A complete schedule of blood drives in Morgantown for the rest of 2021 is available.
