"Invest In Your Community" that’s the theme of this year’s United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties’ community campaign.

This year’s United Way campaign goal is $1,345,000. Money raised will provide support for 46 programs at 24 local health and human service agencies that focus on the building blocks for a better life for all: health, education, and financial stability.

Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $2.2 million to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston counties. This year's campaign will kick off with an email campaign on Oct. 14. The goal is to raise $180,000.

Contributions will help ensure that the United Way continues to have the resources it needs to make a difference in the lives of those in our community. The easiest way to make a donation is through the online ePledge system.

Employees also have the option of completing a WVU Medicine United Way pledge card. It can be sent to Becky Wright through campus mail.
