Randy Link, a concierge at WVU Medicine, threw out the first pitch at last night's (April 30) WVU-Marshall baseball game at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Being asked to throw out the first pitch and represent WVU Medicine was a thrill for Link, who has been at WVU Medicine for five years.

“I hope my selection for this honor helps to demonstrate to all that everyone counts and contributes at WVU Medicine,” he said.

The Mountaineers beat the Herd 2-0 behind Nick Snyder's one-hitter.

WVU Medicine foam fingers were given out to fans at the game.
