Dedicated group shows up to initiate 24th 'Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days®'; photo gallery available

The journey of 100 miles began with a steady rain and chilly temperatures. But despite the poor conditions, determined walkers turned up Monday (April 16) for the Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® kick-off walk, which started from the main lobby of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® is an event created by The Wellness Center at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. This year’s program runs from April 16 through July 24. The program encourages participants to develop the habit of walking at least one mile a day as a form of exercise.
