CORE, WVU Medicine reps selling Hug-A-Bear ornaments today

CORE and WVU Medicine will be selling Hug-A-Bear ornaments in the cafeteria at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12 .

Ornaments will be sold for $10 cash. There will also be a free raffle and CORE swag up for grabs.

Ornament sales will go toward placing name plaques on the J.W. Ruby Memorial Donor Recognition Wall that will be built off the main lobby in early 2019.

The Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) is one of 58 federally-designated, not-for-profit organ procurement organizations in the United States. CORE works closely with donor families and designated healthcare professionals to deliver the gift of hope by coordinating the surgical recovery of organs, tissues, and corneas for transplantation. CORE also facilitates the computerized matching of donated organs, tissues, and corneas.
